Who are we?
The Drop In is a service for people with all adults with learning disabilities and mental health who are over 18. It is a place where you can get advice and support to live independently. We provide a safe informal environment where you can simply pop in and find out about other services that are available in your area.
We provide advice and support with a wide range of issues from housing bidding to benefits and financial issues. We work closely with CCP (County Community Projects) who can offer independent advice. CCP advocates can work with individuals to talk about and resolve concerns and problems independently.
The Drop In encourages individuals to sign up to monthly activities which can enable social networks to develop. You can also just pop in for a coffee and a chat. Staff organise and sign post to local community based activities such as football, swimming, healthy walks etc.
Staff organise a variety of educational talks and groups to support individuals with a variety of issues for example, health, education etc.
The Drop In's are a great place to meet friends.
